Alamo Area SSC Specialties - Feb 13 2010 & Feb 14 2010

Chateau Zamora kicked off the weekend with a Best in Sweepstakes win under Sue Adolph. Later that day, she was Judge Brenda Miramon's Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a 4-point specialty major. Kismet's My Girl was Judge Brenda Miramon's Reserve Winner's Bitch.

On Sunday, Judge Joe Molloy chose Kismet's My Girl as his Winner's Bitch, Best of Winner's and Best of Breed for her second major, a 4-point specialty win.

We would like to express our gratitude to the judges that found our girls amongst quality entry this specialty show drew. We would also like to express our gratitude to Rod Oishi for presenting Maya so beautifully.

We would also like to extend our congratulations to our dear friend Chris Jones and Springmist Poets and Pirates for taking Reserve Winner's Dog on Saturday and Winner's Dog on Sunday.

Chateau Zamora was judge Anne Bowes Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed for a 4-point major at the Nolan River Kennel Club All Breed Show. She was owner-handled out of the Bred-By class.

Kismet's My Girl went reserve to Cody on this day (Ugh). She was beautifully presented by Rod Oishi.

We would like to congratulate our good friends Sheryl and Danny Hendricks of Serendipity Shelties and Margaret Locke of Lockhill Shelties for their great win this saturday. Wendy, Lockehill Tis Serendipity was judge Elle McCarthy's Winner's Bitch for a 3-point major.

We would also like to congratulate our mentors, Guy and Thelma Mauldin for winning Winner's Dog and Best of Winners under Elle McCarthy with Kismet's Durango and for winning Reserve Winner's Bitch with Orion's Sahara of Kismet. Durango was beautifuly handled by Rod Oishi to his second major.

Chateau Zamora was owner-handled by Sergio for her first major at the afternoon Trinity Valley Shetland Sheepdog Specialty Show under judge Gloria Cronin. She was shown in the Bred-By class.

Chateau Zamora also won Best Female in Sweeps at both Specialties under judges Carolyn Edgemon and Susan Williamson.

Our own Chateau Zamora took Best Puppy In Show at the Cypress Creek Kennel Club in Houston, TX. Cody defeated approximately 149 puppies of 64 different breeds.
